Yes, it is appropriate to focus on what Christ suffered to redeem us. But even so the price cannot be measured by any earthly means-the most graphic special effects do not tell the whole story.
The foundation of our faith is what happened on the third day.
The Risen Christ, Who is no longer on the cross, dwells with us! And because He was victorious, we share in His victory as His joint heirs!
Our pasts were nailed to the cross!
Our failures were nailed to the cross!
Our sicknesses were nailed to the cross!
Our poverty was nailed to the cross!
Our despair was nailed to the cross!
This is our assurance as Christians. We, who by all rights should be dead in sin, are alive in Christ Jesus because,
He Has Risen!
Celebrate His Resurrection!!
