Seeds.
Such tiny things. Such profound impact.
Seeds of kindness will produce great trees of magnificent, eternal fruit.
Seeds of discord will create heartbreak and destruction.
The mystery is how even if someone has planted seeds of discord in your garden, one seed of kindness can overtake and heal your garden. If you let it.
Right now, you can create a bountiful harvest in the life of someone. Plant a seed of kindness. Smile at a stranger. Preferably someone who doesn’t look like you. Help a mother who looks overwhelmed. Don’t ignore the homeless. They have a story to tell. Listen.
Listen.
At this very moment people have hearts that are broken because they feel they have no one that hears their cries.
You don’t have to save the world. You don’t have to save anyone. Jesus does that. But if you plant just one seed of kindness, that seemingly insignificant seed will germinate and grow. That is when your witness bears fruit.
That creates more seeds.
There have been seasons of desolation in my life that I was able to survive because good and faithful people planted seeds of kindness in my garden.
Would you join me in planting some seeds today?
James 3:18 (NIV)
18 Peacemakers who sow in peace reap a harvest of righteousness.
Blessings!
